Yea the Jacob body thing is weird. Actually, The Black Smoke and Jacob don't really take over the bodies. They just have the ability to make themselves any figure that they want (hence why Christian is running around all the time even though he is dead, makes me think that Jacob resembled him at some points). So, yea, maybe Sayid isn't taken over, only because there isn't another body around, and I wasn't sure if they could actually take over bodies or not. It makes me think they can take over bodies, though, going back to the Christian thing. His body was missing from the coffin AND on the plane in the alternate reality.

I like your idea for whatever happened happened, beats my confusing whatever it was idea. I think that is probably right, because it makes the most sense. Jack/Locke communicating kind of hinted towards that, as well as Desmond being on the plane, and Claire in the same car as Kate. One thing I really liked was when Charlie said "I was supposed to die" and what not to Jack, just as Desmond had told him when he was on the island, when he went to the Hydra. The only thing I don't get is how was John able to go to the walkabout, and how is Hurley the luckiest man alive, if both of them obviously lived the opposite pre-crash. Remember, nothing pre-crash actually changed. So, I figure they are both lying, and none of what they are saying is actually true.

^I just don't get if the island stuff is going to be led into by the crash, how? When the plane went over the island, it was rusted up, covered in sea life underwater. Maybe that meant something?? And when Juliet said, "it worked" to Miles (not really but yea), we know that that alternate reality is real, AND the island life is real, but how come none of the survivors remember the alternate plane ride? Just confuses me...

Am I the only one that watched these two episodes 3 times so far? lol...

So, me and iZZy chatting up a lost storm, just thought of a few things from other people and from our own stuff.

The first thing was the significance of that ankh, because as we all remember, Paul, Ethan's original father before Horris took over, was wearing an ankh on his neck when he died. It was snatched off him immediately by his wife, which goes to show how important that ankh really is.

The second major thing was the island. I thought that maybe the island isn't always underwater. Maybe the nuclear explosion capsized the island to make it that way. Since the nuke went off, they never ended up on the island in the first place, hence why they are in the plane. But, as we learned, there can be two of one person when going from time to time (two John Locke's staring at each other when he had Richard go talk to him). I think that means even after they detonated the bomb, they still had one part of them stranded on the island, and the other part of them on that plane, without it ever crashing (since they can't just disappear from the island, so maybe there really is two worlds. This would explain how the island is underwater, how they are on the island still, and how they are on the plane.

Also, notice how Kate and Jack stare at each other off island? I think it means something. Just my thoughts...
