Sorry man, I just kept reading all the reviews and the majority were good. So I thought the movie had to have a few good parts. But I know now to NEVER doubt you.

Great googly moogly I would rather watch squirrels fuck than watch that movie again. and I saw the alternate ending. The chick walks back upstairs after killing the boyfriend and stands in front of the camera and slashes her own throat. Which makes the movie even worse because why would a demon haunt someone for 20 something years before killing them?

I am considering to check out this movie. I don't expect much of it tho. Nowadays all horror movies suck badly. Two of my friends went to watch it in the movies and they told me how they laughed through the most of the movie  oh well i'll check it out anyways.

I don't think it was crap. I actually liked it. But I wouldn't say it's as scary as folks make it out to be. If anything, it was just amusing. I didn't really get scared at all. But if you're into that paranormal shit, I'd say check it out. It's very eerie and creepy, that's for sure. It's not like you're watching a scary movie, but more of a documentary of being in a haunted house. To enjoy it more, I guess you'd just have to put yourself in their shoes. It's not meant to be one of those gory, scare-tactic movies. It's more along the lines of just watching how a couple deals with paranormal activity.

It was creepy as hell and it certainly had some weird moments, but it's definitely not the scary movie that everyone is making it out to be. It's sorta like Blair Witch (which I actually did not like AT ALL), it's just a documentation of eerie things going on in their environment. If you're looking for crazy violence/gore, shit flying at the camera out of nowhere and creepy music to intensify the mood, this movie isn't for you because it doesn't have any of that.

BTW, I watched the DVD screener that leaked, and I will say that ending was quite anti-climactic. I heard about the theatrical ending, but that one would've been lame to see. There's another alternative ending that I've read about; I really want to see that ending.

WORD! If my english skills were better then i would say something along those lines  couldn't say it better Izzy
