Anyone else losing loads of respect for him? Last year it was him and Joe Budden tweeting and dropping disses over facebook about Vibe's top lyrcists list. Now he's apologizing to Wacka Flocka Flame for responding in a harsh manner on a radio interview.

On a side note, what the hell kind of name is Wacka Flocka? I refuse to watch BET so I haven't heard of him but Wacka Flocka? Sounds like something from a Japanese anime.

i gained respect.. as far as last year with budden, that was actually joey's shit talkin ass. method man didnt even really diss joey back like that. turned into joey versus all of wu resulting in joey putting ice rocks on his eye during a webcast.. method isnt the beef type.

as far as this shit wit wacka focka fag, he simply said that rappers who sell out and put no substance into their songs dont have much longevity which is true.. then wocka said somethin bout lovin method man and how he dont see why meth is talkin ill about him cuz wu tang made 'crunk' music too (which i think is bullshit. wu tang made MUSIC.. shit was more than mashing out and clubbing.. they told stories and had cyphers on records. wacka must be judging wutang simply on 'aint nothin to fuck wit' or somethin).. and then meth said he aint tryin to single out specific rappers with his comment and said he feels hip hop should have numerous departments and angles to it.. which makes sense. u got lupe hip hop, u got dmx hip hop, u got eminem hip hop, u got common hip hop, u got snoop hip hop, u got lil jon hip hop and u got krs one hip hop.. dont expect meth to pull a joey and start naming specific names like a lil kid because that causes beef and im sure meth has seen that story play out plenty times. not to mention there are more than jus 1 or 2 sell out rap artists in the game

I feel what you are saying. I took it as Meth backtracking because he was saying everyone took his original comment out of context. I don't know how radio interviews work but I always assumed beforehand the DJ would outline some of the questions he would ask so the artist would already have answers formulated and there wouldn't be any dead time because the artist is thinking of how to answer. So based on that I was thinking Meth should stick to his original statement of basically saying fuck wacka flocka.
